Modifying Mum's Car

Our Mum's raced their cars at Sydney Dragway. Marty's Mum's engine then blew up so we replaced it with an EJ20 WRX Engine from a half cut of unknown origins. Inevitably, that engine blew up also, so on this episode of Mighty Car Mods, we're going to work out why - and then fix it!Shop: http://www.mightycarmods.com/collections/Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/mightycarmodsForum: http://forums.mightycarmods.comAlso something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. #1347 - 1962 Chevrolet Corvette
For sale in our Houston Showroom is this gorgeous 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. This is one for ages! Fresh out of a complete nut and bolt restoration, with a couple of minor upgrades (read on), this car is absolutely stunning and shines bright like a diamond in the sun.Originality is key with this Corvette, except for the fact that it has received new front disc brakes, new power rack and pinion steering, and an HEI ignition system; however, both improve its drivability significantly, without detracting from its originality. The car has a very straight body, with very clean lines on its all-original body, and it looks as good underneath as it does up top. It runs & drives very well, with plenty of power and torque from its 327 CID V8, and the smooth-shifting original T-10 4-speed manual transmission. The entire interior was restored, with new carpet and new seating, as well. This Silver Streak has a newly-rebuilt 327/340 HP engine, with an owner-stated original block and trans. However, when the engine was re-decked, the block pad stamping was damaged. We'll not claim it as a numbers-matching car due to that, but it very well may be provable (call Horatio Caine, maybe?). It has a great close ratio T-10 4-speed manual transmission that shifts very smoothly up & down through the gears. It has beautiful original hub caps & new tires.Options on this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette for sale include AM Wonderbar Radio, Hub Caps, Seat Belts, Spare Tire and Jack, and Vinyl Interior. Overall, it's a very impressive car & has a combination that's given it that 'Look that makes YOU Look'. This rare beauty is sure to please its next owner for many years to come. This vehicle is an absolute head turner and would make an amazing addition to any garage. 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop Stock #7861 Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis Showroom

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop. This sweet little 210 is powered by a 327 small block Chevy and backed by a manual 4-speed transmission. Power is sent to a stock '57 rear end housing a set of 3.36:1 rear gears allowing for fun around town yet still very highway worthy. The paint is base coat clear coat Quasar Blue Metallic, is roughly 2-3 years old, is still looking great and right at home on this '57 210. Inside you'll find a stock appearing interior with correct 210 seats. Most restorations seem to lean towards Bel Air interiors regardless if they're Bel Airs or not. The 210 looks just as good and is in an Ivory and Charcoal color scheme that goes quite well with the Quasar Blue Metallic. Miles are showing 73,010 and are believed to be original. Modern upgrades include an aluminum radiator to help dissipate heat and keep the engine running cool. Adding to the aluminum radiator is an electric cooling fan. These electric fans are very good to have during any summer parade or stuck in traffic where the clutch fan isn't spinning fast enough to keep things cool. Brakes are original style drums and are brand new. An Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold helps breath cool air into the heads and an Edelbrock carburetor supplies the fuel. Edelbrock has sure made a name for themselves over the years and this easy to use carburetor solidifies their great reputation. Other notable restoration items include a new windshield, new side glass and rubber gaskets for the doors, windshield and trunk.1957 Chevy's are as American as Apple Pie and probably one of the most recognizable cars ever built. This one has the looks and that great V8 rumble. Don't miss out on this classic '57! For more information on this 1957 Chevrolet 210 Hardtop, call our St. Louis showroom at 618-271-3000. Car Electronics Installations And More On My Own Car

How’s it goin’ my friends, it’s Gatlin here once again from Carphonix Car Audio.

And I wanna tell you a little something about me.

Something you might not know.

Now, I don’t tell a lot of people this, but the truth is…

I like cars.

I know, I know. Didn’t see that one coming, did ya?

Hah!

Anyway, one of the coolest things about running a car electronics installations shop is all the different cars I get to see every day. From the most practical to the most exotic, from high performance machines to classic beauties, from 18-wheelers to golf carts I’ve seen it all.

And you know what? Each job is fun in its own way.

But none of them are as fulfilling as the work I do on my own cars.

That’s right, your pal Gatlin works all day on your car, then he spends the evening working on his own cars!

Maybe I need a new hobby. Oh well.

In this one, I’ll show you my lovely, my pride and joy, my 1986 300ZX Turbo.

I’ve had this car a long time, and I’ve put a lot of work into it.

I hope you enjoy watching this one as much as I enjoyed making it.

A Full Car Audio Systems Install On A Porsche

Hello hello hello my internet homies, guys and gals, it’s your old buddy Gatlin here from Carphonix!

And boy oh boy do we gots something for ya today.

What is it?

A bright, beautiful, yellow 2008 Porsche Cayman S.

Yep, that’s right! Big Daddy Gatlin is crimpin’ in a Porsche!

This one was a fun project to work on. We got to do a full car audio installation on this bad boy.

Here’s a list of just a few of the parts we used:
• A JL Audio RD 900/5 amp
• A custom built amp rack
• A pair of C5 tweeters in the dash
• A pair of C5 door speakers
• A pair of C5 rear speakers
• A pair of 8” Pinoeer woofers in the doors

You’ll see all that, and more, in this video series.

Yep, you heard me right – this is a video series!

This was such a big project that it took us three videos to complete.

Well, that, and people kept stopping by to interrupt us. In the first one, you’ll see Craig from Bonsai Rides stopping by, and in the second you’ll see a visit from the one, the only, 1PUGLIFE.
